1 : an invented prose narrative that is usually long and complex and deals especially with human experience through a usually connected sequence of events
so, i've started writing one of these novel things. who knows if i'll finish it, if it will be horrible, or if i'll even share it with anyone. alas. this we can not know. but, i've written the first paragraph, and that's a start. i think i know where i want it to go, but i always say that, and something completley bizarre pours out.
we shall see.
