myspace is like so december 06.

ok, so i'm noticing that lots of people are taking the plunge and diving into facebook. now for me, facebook has been a constant in my life for hmmm... i guess 3.5 years now. (in your face, newbies.) myspace is much newer to me. however, i feel like people are growing tired of myspace. all the phishing of accounts. you can hardly click a link without someone snatching up your info and posting a bulletin to all your friends on this wonderful new cock enhancer, or how macy's is offering this sweet new gift certificate, or how sluttysarah6969 wants to chat with you now, or... i guess you get the idea.

anyway, i read on perez today that microsoft is thinking of purchasing facebook for like um...500 million dollars. that mark zuckerberg is a lucky bitch.

however, i do feel like facebook is different than it used to be.

FACEBOOK YOU'VE CHANGED.

you're no longer the college student networking site you once were. now anyone can join you. people can build stupid applications for you. people can stalk each other openly on a mini-feed for the world to see. i don't know. i guess i just kinda miss how you were before. but that's life...things change.

meh. i can't really complain. i mean, i'm still on facebook, and i'm on myspace too. and a million other online applications that require a username and password like twitter, and photobucket, and blogger, and picnik, and flickr, and site meter, and aol, and yahoo, and gmail, and hotmail, and wow....

YOU GET THE IDEA. (nerd alert.)

anyway, this blog has gone nowhere. but i guess the overall point is that online applications are constantly changing, growing, melding into the next big thing. and even though we complain, and cheat on one with the other, we still participate. i mean, look at me....
