for our entree, we had pan seared halibut on a bed of thyme roasted plum tomatoes drizzled with a white wine - caper - lemon - butter sauce. chopped parsley for garnish. geez. what a mouthful.
pun intended.

then for desert, and the first time ever for both of us, we attempted crepes. now as you may or may not know, making a crepe is really freaking hard. like riding a bike on a trapeze rope hard. like crawling up the side of the empire state building without a rope hard. like giving my cat a bath hard. like... ok, you get the picture. it's hard.
but somehow, we managed to not totally massacre some. wahoo! we both even almost perfected the crepe pan flip.

anyway, for desert we had crepes stuffed with pan seared brown sugar bananas and nutella. topped with more pan seared bananas and powdered sugar. dulche de leche ice cream on the side.

not too bad huh?
